Lauren McGuier currently works out of her studio in San Francisco.  Born in the Midwest, she moved to Seattle where she first began painting, inspired by the grey skyline contrasting with the rich colors of the landscape and dramatic sunsets.  Her watercolors are done using the wet on wet technique and dropping in color.  Lauren’s work is an escape into fantasy and self-reflection, aspiring to bring forth emotions through color and movement.  She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cornish  College of the Arts.
